Capacity Building Programme on Effective Teaching Methodology

“Effective teaching is not about filling minds with facts; it’s about inspiring minds to think.” A highly enriching Capacity Building Programme workshop on Teaching Methodology was conducted by Ms. Mahi Burza at Universal Delhi Public School, R.S. Pura. The workshop introduced innovative, learner-centred teaching strategies, practical classroom techniques, and engaging pedagogical approaches to enhance the teaching-learning process. Capacity Building Program On Interdisciplinary & Project Based Learning

Two-Day Teacher Training Program at Universal Delhi Public School Universal Delhi Public School, Jammu successfully organized an insightful. Two-Day Teacher Training Program, aimed at empowering our educators with innovative teaching methodologies and reflective practices. The workshop was conducted by Ms. Marifa Muzzafar and Mr. Varun Bandral The two-day workshop covered the following key themes: Day 1: Interdisciplinary & Project Based Learning** Teachers were introduced to innovative strategies for integrating multiple subjects into engaging, real-world projects, fostering critical thinking and holistic learning among students. Day 2: Building Teacher Confidence and Reflective Practices** The session focused on strengthening teachers' self-confidence, encouraging self-reflection, and equipping them with tools to continuously grow in their teaching journey. Sharing her thoughts on the program, Ms. Pankaja Jamwal remarked: "Empowering our teachers with new-age skills and reflective thinking is the key to shaping confident classrooms and, in turn, confident students." The training saw enthusiastic participation from our teaching staff , who engaged in interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and collaborative learning throughout the two days. At UDPS, we remain committed to continuous professional development, ensuring our educators are equipped with the best tools and techniques to nurture our students' growth.

The enriching session was conducted by Ms. Sonal Singh, along with Mr. Akash from the publication team, who shared valuable insights into innovative teaching practices and learner-centric approaches that make education more engaging, meaningful, and effective. As part of Prarambh – The Grand Start, students enthusiastically participated in the Artisans’ Alchemy Candle Making Workshop, where they explored the fascinating art of creating beautiful handcrafted candles. Conducted by Ms. Anum, the workshop provided students with hands-on experience in the candle-making process. They learned how to prepare candles using different materials, colors, and decorative techniques, allowing their creativity and imagination to shine. The engaging session fostered artistic expression, patience, and craftsmanship while giving students the satisfaction of creating something unique with their own hands. It was a joyful and enriching learning experience that inspired our young artisans to explore the world of handmade creations.

The workshop was conducted by the esteemed team from Ramada Plaza by Wyndham, Vijaypur: Mr. Kartik Sharma – Manager, Food & Beverage Department Ms. Khaiz Sharma – Associate, Food & Beverage Department Chef Ajay Kumar – Executive Chef Mr. Sikander – Associate, Food & Beverage Department Through engaging demonstrations and interactive sessions, students learned about food presentation, culinary techniques, hospitality etiquette, and the importance of creativity in the culinary profession. The experts shared valuable insights into the hospitality industry, inspiring students to explore new skills and career opportunities. The workshop was highly informative and enjoyable, leaving students motivated to develop their culinary talents and appreciation for the art of cooking.
